Pro Tip: Clear text formatting before pasting on Mac

When you copy text from most applications, including a web browser, you frequently also copy its native formatting, such as the text size, font choice, etc. When you then paste this into a new document or email, it may look out of place.

To paste the text without its original formatting, copy the original text, but when pasting, press Option + Shift + Command + V. Or you can also achieve this by selecting the Edit menu + Past and Match Style.
