With iOS16, Apple has released the Live Activities feature, which allows you to stay on top of things that are happening in real time on the Lock Screen. You can check the score of a game or track the progress of your food delivery without unlocking your device.
How to enable Live Activities
Go to Settings
Tap Face ID and Passcode
Enter your iPhone's passcode
Scroll down and toggle the switch beside Live Activities
