Pro Tip: Share files from your Mac to other Apple devices using AirDrop

AirDrop lets you quickly and easily transfer files between iPhones, iPads, and Macs. It's an excellent way to quickly send large files from one Apple device to another within the same area.

AirDrop works over Bluetooth, so both the sending and receiving device must have Bluetooth turned on. In addition, AirDrop must be set to allow either Contacts Only or Everyone to discover the connection. To access AirDrop settings on a Mac locate the Go menu in Finder and choose AirDrop. To access AirDrop settings on an iPhone go to the Control Center and click the AirDrop icon or go to Settings > General > AirDrop.
