Pro Tip: Use the Toolbar to Access Favorite Files and Folders on Mac


Conveniently access your most commonly used files and folders by parking them right on the toolbar. Hold the Command key while you click and drag the file or folder up to the toolbar. Hold it there for a second and release. After you do, the file or folder will appear on the toolbar, where it will always be just one click away. If you decide to remove it, just press and hold the Command key and drag it off the toolbar. Note: change the toolbar view property to Icon and Text to show the file or folder name. To do this, right-click on the toolbar and select "Icon and Text".
