With the help of iOS15, you can quickly translate text from the Photos app. Live Text understands seven different languages: English, Chinese, French, Italian, German, Portuguese, and Spanish. And with system‑wide translation, you can simply tap and translate.
How to translate text
Open the Photos app
Select a photo
Touch and hold a word, move the grab points to adjust the selection
Tap Translate
You might need to tap Continue and choose a language to translate in, or tap Change Language
